Basic Purpose:
ITelagen is seeking highly motivated, self starting, experienced Healthcare IT Sales Account Managers that can effectively prospect and close new business opportunities and penetrate target account lists. You will be one of the core members of a selling team that will drive new business opportunities by identifying and selling electronic health records solutions to physicians while maintaining long lasting relationships. We seek team players with a passion for success that can multi-task and exceed sales, revenue goals and objectives.
This is a permanent opportunity to join a growing high-technology company in Jersey City that is expanding its nationwide market. This requires marketing our revolutionary IT services to small and medium businesses nationwide and scheduling appointments for our inside sales consultants. The ideal person has an engineering background that is very comfortable speaking about Information Technology and Computer Systems.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual sales plan by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage
- Develop and implement an annual business plan supporting attainment of quota and market share growth, and update on a quarterly basis
- Maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel and accurate profile of customer assets
- Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of GEHC and competitive products
- Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with all key buying influences in each account, including multiple levels within the customer's organization including front desk person, office manager, administrator, physician, etc.
- Maintain complete knowledge of each account's current and long-term purchase plans and objectives, keeping management informed of all changes in plans, objectives and key buying influences
- Identifying & Reach Decision Makers
- Increase market share/revenue by proactively uncovering, pursuing and growing new business.
- Perform sales presentations (scheduled by telemarketing team) remotely or in-person
- Represent client at trade association meetings to promote company, products and services.
- Work closely with executive staff to communicate pipeline and sales activity
- Work with technical teams to address customer needs effectively
Employee Characteristics:
- Understanding of the IT & EHR Industry
- Experience & desire to work in a small company environment
- Excellent prospecting, new client generation and negotiation skills
- Successful sales track record with the ability to sell to Healthcare IT solutions
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and CRM software
- Well organized and operates under moderate to little supervision
- Must be enthusiastic and positive
- Demonstrated track record of solution selling.
- Strong communication, problem solving and investigative skills an optimist at heart and passionate about their products.
- Needs analysis and identifying customer pain or targeted burning platforms: then successfully target diagnostic solutions to 'ease the pain'
Education/Experience Requirement:
- 5+ years of direct sales experience
- 3+ Years of experience in selling Healthcare IT Services with a proven track record
- Successful track record of selling both small <100k & large >500K deals
- 4 Year College Degree Required
